Wits Business School MBA Field Trip to the SADC region, taking place from March 12 to March 22, 2026. The trip covers four cities: Johannesburg, Gaborone, Windhoek, and Cape Town.

Itinerary Overview

The field trip is heavily focused on business engagements, with full-day meetings scheduled in each city.

• Johannesburg, South Africa (March 12-13): The trip begins with two full days of business meetings in Johannesburg. Participants who are not based in Johannesburg are responsible for their own accommodation and transport arrangements for this portion of the trip.
• Gaborone, Botswana (March 14-17): On March 14, the group will fly from Johannesburg to Gaborone and check into the Masa Square Hotel. The schedule includes full-day business meetings on March 15 and 16.
• Windhoek, Namibia (March 17-20): The group will take an early morning flight on March 17 from Gaborone to Windhoek via Johannesburg. Accommodation will be at the Avani Hotel. Full-day business meetings are scheduled for March 18 and 19.
• Cape Town, South Africa (March 20-22): On the morning of March 20, the group will fly from Windhoek to Cape Town. Upon arrival, they will be transferred to the Garden Court Victoria Junction. The itinerary includes a full day of meetings on March 21 and a final day of meetings until 15:00 on March 22.
• End of Trip: The trip concludes on the evening of March 22 with a flight from Cape Town back to Johannesburg.

Travel Requirements

• Visas: South African passport holders do not need a visa for travel to Botswana or Namibia.
• Passport: Passports must be valid for at least six months after the date of exit from South Africa and must contain at least six blank pages.
